Looking to add a little colour to your room?
Try these crane curtains.
I'm sure we have all made origami cranes at some point, these colour cranes are a creative way to add a splash of colour to your white door and a special feature to your room.
If you got a light breeze going, its always fun to watch them fly around, they almost seem like they are mingling!
Here's what you will need:
- a threading needle
- colourful string
- colourful paper
And here's how to make it.
Step 1
You want to plan the colour arrangement of the birds and string before you start anything else. The arrangement is really up to you, be creative.
Step 2
Get your coloured paper and cut out a 10cm x 10cm square. Then fold a paper crane. Click here for a youtube tutorial I followed.
Step 3
Thread a piece of string from the top point of the body of the crane.
Step 4
Secure the crane's position on the string by tying a knot at its base.
Then just continue to make more cranes until you have enough for a string. Then make a few more strings of cranes for a curtain. Bluetack them to your door frame, a wall or wherever you want them to fly around.
